My Office Desktop

My online pal Baddie claimed he held my poor newborn kittens hostage and promised he’ll release them only if I give in to this office desktop meme. While I don’t remember owning any kittens and I absolutely have no idea why internet memes are referred to as such, here’s a labeled screenshot of my office workstation (click for a larger view):

1. Those are the shortcuts for my work tools. The secret drive which I inconspicuously labeled FLASH DICKS is where I keep most of my plans for world domination.
2. Maxthon browser. Because not every website looks sexy on Firefox. Well, actually most of the work-related sites won’t run on any other browser but IE. And yes, Netvibes is part of my work.
3. Mozilla Firefox with Twitbin. This is where I integrate business with pleasure. All the social networking sites and forums (fora?) are on Firefox. Like Grandma Steel said, all work and no play makes a very dull day (or keeps the doctor away? I forgot).
4. GoToAssist (aka DellConnect 2.0). This is what we use to h4×0r other people’s computers, primarily for remote assistance.
5. Alex Ross’s rendition of Batman. The Dark Knight always makes sure all my icons are safe and secured because like I mentioned, in the wrong hands they can be used as tools of mass destruction.
6. Stitch. This cute nasty fella never fails to amuse me whenever I’m bored, although most of the time he entertains himself by boring a hole in my wallpaper, doing Elvis, or surfing the waves anywhere on my screen.
